About Starla

My name is Starla and I am first of all and most important to me, a mother of 5 beatiful children. They make me who I am and make me love being a mother. I have 3 girls and 2 boys that range from 17-7. We have also hosted 3 beautiful exchange daughter's and enjoy our time with them while they are here with our family. There's hardly ever a quiet or dull moment at my house but I don't know what I'd do without my family. I have been married almost 20 years to an amazing man. God has blessed us both beyond measure.


I am excited to be starting this blog for my knitted hats and cocoons. I am a photographer and I have recently had to sit back and slow down on my work due to lower back problems. While this has been going on for several months I needed something to do. I needed to keep my hands busy so knitting became a new hobby for me. I have always adored putting hats on babies when I do photo sessions so I decided to try making them myself and have enjoyed myself so much. I had a few people inquire about purchasing a hat or cocoon that's how Lil' Baby Knits Blog was created! Once again God has given me a new talent to use while I am here on this earth and I hope that I use it to His blessing and glory.
